You should make sure the agent policy if you want to change the host family or cancel homestay.

Can I move out anytime soon?
There should be provisions such as telling the agent 30 days in advance if you want to move out.
You should ask an agent when you can move out.
Does an agent replace a new host family if you change a host.
Mostlikely, an agent could find a new host family for you.
However, in that case, it is necessary to confirm whether the arrangement fee will be charged again because it depends on the agent.
Will I get refund?
Each agent has a different refund policy. You should make sure about it in advance.
Also, it would be better to know how the refund will be calculated.
What if I look for homestay myself?
Actually, you can look for a host family on your own.
You can find a homestay on a website.
However, we don’t recommend that because it is difficult to find a nice host online.
Because you have to contact them in English and it may not be easy.
Also, since there is no third party such as an agent, there is no way to know what kind of person the host is, and communication between individuals tends to be troublesome.
The reason why, we don’t recommend looking for homestay yourself.
