What is a Popular Teacher Home Homestay?
I wish I had such a homestay ... It is said that it is the teacher's homestay that it is really delicious. It has become a content that is perfect for such people.
In a teacher homestay, students will learn English directly from the mother and father of the homestay.
- His language school is centered around the students in their early 20's, so they seem to be slightly floating.
- I want to improve my English intensively.
- I would like to strengthen my weakness only in English.
- I would like to learn English at my own pace.
- One-to-one lessons are good.
- I want to learn raw English that can be used in daily conversations.
- Not meet the language school entrance age limit.
The class is a one-on-one private lesson, so it is possible to develop English intensively in the short term.
I want to make regular conversations main, I want to fix the grammar, I want to strengthen the listening, etc.Being able to customize the class content on request is a major difference from language schools.
Homes for teachers are available from a variety of people, such as working adults and elementary school students who are less than the age limit for admission to language schools, and also want to acquire English during sightseeing (^ ^) /

Homestay experience story
I interviewed K who learned the homestay experience in a teacher's home actually what I learned and impressions!
- Why did you want a teacher homestay?I would like to improve my daily conversation skills and experience Los Angeles culture in a homestay
- The length of stayHalf Month
- Lesson content
I did a lesson every morning. After breakfast, the lesson begins in a relaxed mood with a cup of coffee together. It is a method of solving together the text which host Ron chose. During that time, Mr. Ron was sitting sideways, answering my questions and checking pronunciation. Sometimes I also did homework. The text learned grammar, idiom etc while learning topics about American customs and rules.
- It was extracurricular class.
After the lesson, it is a daily routine to jog together, and I went to a nearby park or outing and went on a seaside course. He took me a drive to a Los Angeles landmark. Good memories of going to the Griffith Observatory, the Getty Center, and the Long Beach Battleship Iowa Museum. We had a meal in Chinatown and visited a delicious fish octopus restaurant. The breakfast at the farmer's market in the nearby park was a staple only on Saturdays. I went to see the movie together. I did not know half of it, so I will keep my purchased DVD at Ron's house to see it someday when I get to know it. It is a dream I want to realize someday. (laughs)
- Were you able to experience American culture?
As I was staying at home in December, I was mixed with Mr. Ron's Christmas party. It was a bustling party of 30-40 relatives and friends. This is an American Christmas party! I enjoyed it with such a feeling.
Did your English improve?
Before homestay, I had no English myself at all. I was anxious about it, but I felt growth in English when I was living everyday in an English-only environment. Unlike English I learn at school, I also listened to English spoken daily by Americans, so I think I could learn English that can be used in more practical ways.
- Impressions of trying homestay in teacher's home, it was good.
As I was with Ron almost every day, learning through extra-curricular classes was much stronger than lessons. In particular, as a member of my family, I had a lot of opportunities to interact with Ron, as well as Ron's relatives and friends. So I think that everyday conversation skills were cultivated. However, it was difficult to remember the name because it was introduced by many people (laughs) It was a really good experience throughout, as well as cultural exchange.
There is no age limit for teacher homestays, and basically it can be used by anyone. As we can request what you want to learn in the class content, we offer fully made-to-order classes tailored to each person. This content is perfect for those who want to improve their English skills in a short period of time, learn daily conversations, and want to take one-on-one lessons!
Of course we also introduce regular homestays, so we hope you find this helpful (^ o ^)
